Landscape Architecture Association (SAK), welcomes entrants to preliminary selection for the 2. edition of the exhibition: “Contemporary landscape architecture in Visegrad Countries”.
The exhibition is part of the SAK-managed project, co-financed by the International Visegrad Fund, which aims to promote the landscape architect profession as well as to present the current state of affairs in landscape architecture, as demonstrated by projects built in Czech, Poland, Slovakia and Hungary.
A sine qua non condition for every entry is that a landscape architect was the leading designer or an equal partner on the project team. The subject of the exhibition are public spaces (parks, plazas, gardens, squares etc.) built in 2010-2015.
The jury panel appointed by SAK will select 10 of the best Polish landscape architecture objects, which in turn will be part of the comprehensive exhibition of 40 objects from the 4 Central European countries. The exhibition opening will take place in November 2015 in Krakow, during SAK conference. In 2016 the exhibition will be presented in each of the partner countries.
Entries must be sent via email until 31st August to this address: wystawa(at)sak.org.pl. Your entry must include:
- name of the design studio/company
- project title
- year of construction
- email address at which you will receive detailed technical requirements for the materials.
